If you or someone you know has a vehicle they want to get rid of - they can donate it to MHAF and help the animals! Dean Ollar of Bestrex.com came up the program; he will sell donated cars and donate the proceeds to MHAF (minus towing expenses); you can contact Dean at (216) 408-7777.

Once your information is taken, a towing service will be notified, and within 24-48 hours, the towing service will contact you to schedule a convenient time to pick up your vehicle at no charge. In preparing your vehicle?s title for transfer, write the name "Middleburg Heights Animal Foundation" in the space marked 'buyer' or 'purchaser'. Then sign your name where it states "seller" exactly as it appears on the title. The tow truck driver will pick up your vehicle as well as the title. If you are uncomfortable about handing your title to the tow truck driver, you can make prior arrangements with a donation representative to mail your title to MHAF.

Your donation voucher* will be mailed to you the very next day that we receive your donation information.

*The donation voucher should be kept as proof of your donation to Middleburg Heights Animal Foundation. The voucher contains your information, our information, and the year, make, and model of the vehicle. No description of the condition or value will be included. Charities are not authorized by the IRS to provide a value for your donation. The value is to be determined by you and your tax advisor. The IRS states that a donor may deduct "the fair market value" which the IRS states as "the price a willing buyer and a willing seller would agree upon, if neither were pressured to do so."

ALUMINUM CAN & CELL PHONE RECYCLING

MHAF is going to start accepting aluminum cans & cell phones for recycling so that we can turn them into cash for the animals. Please turn them in at our Meetings or Events.
